Lou Lou began at a sunlit kitchen table with a bowl of beads and a length of waxed thread. Today every order is still knotted by hand, one bead at a time.

We source semi-precious stone, recycled glass and hand-rolled clay from small makers — never plated metal.

Our Story

"We believe the things you wear every day should carry a little warmth — a trace of the hands that made them."

Lou Lou started in 2019 with a single bowl of amber glass beads and a stubborn idea: that beautiful jewelry didn't need to be precious to be meaningful. Named after the founder's grandmother — a woman who never left the house without a strand of beads — every piece is a small tribute to slow, intentional making.

We work only with beads: semi-precious stone, recycled and lampworked glass, freshwater pearl and hand-rolled clay. Never plated metal, never mass-cast. Each necklace and bracelet is hand-knotted in our sunlit studio, then checked, wrapped and sent by a real person who knows it by name.
